If there’s one thing that Katie Victoria enjoys as much as bringing her iconic visions to life, it’s meeting the wonderful customers that allow her to enjoy that passion. On November 29th, Katie will swap her knitting machine and Swansea studio for the stunning scenery of Devon by bringing a touch of magic to this year’s Wonderland event in Dartington. Katie loves nothing more than seeing faces light up as they spot her newest accessory line or knitwear for their home, which is why she is thrilled to be joining over 60 of the South West’s finest creators – across the realms of art, music, food, fashion, and more – for what should be a truly stunning event.

A Winter Wonderland in The Heart of Delightful Devon
This year’s Wonderland event in Dartington, Totnes, is hosted by the ‘Craft Revolution’ and ‘Me and East’ at The Ship Studio and Upper Gatehouse and runs from Thursday 29th November to Sunday 2nd December and is sure to be a big hit with the Devon crowd once more. Having enjoyed herself immensely during her last trip to the region back in the summer at The Contemporary Craft Festival in Bovey Tracey, Katie cannot wait to bring her latest handmade creations to the show.

Katie loves the atmosphere, aesthetics, and sense of unity that events like this bring, while the festive factor is sure to make Wonderland at Dartington an even greater showcase of fun, fashion, and food – better still, the fact it’s nearly Christmas will remove the guilt if she tucks into one too many tasty treats!

After meeting so many other local designers (and customers) in the summer, Katie is excited about the prospect of building on those relations and hopefully building a few more. Wonderland is sure to be a celebration of everything that makes the South West such an incredible and inspirational place to live, work, and create.

Katie loves to blend traditional styles with new innovations that have been discovered from around the world. Wonderland provides another opportunity to discuss those styles and ideas with her valued and loyal customer base while also testing the waters with a few new ideas that could become a more prominent feature in 2019. With potential new stockists on the horizon too, this truly is the perfect event to prepare for what should be a fascinating year ahead.

A Long & Wonderful Weekend
In addition to attending the event with her beautiful handmade creations, Katie will be staying in the local area for the long weekend at an Airbnb. So, she’ll be able to mix with the fellow creators and attend the various workshops. Moreover, she’d love to speak to customers about her designs, crafts, and anything else you may want to ask.

So, if you’re in the area from November 29th-December 2nd, pop along to see a range of one-off pieces, along with some of the firm favourites from www.katievictoria-textiles.com. With every item handmade and knitted with a palpable labour of love, you will not be disappointed! You will be able to not only tick a number of items of your gift list but will probably find a few treats for yourself as well!
